Bettie Serveert plays their and your favorites + Hiqpy
Dutch indie rock legends bring their favorite songs.
Since 1991, Bettie Serveert has been winning the hearts of everyone who loves alternative indie rock. Their debut album, 'Palomine,' was released in 1992, followed by the even more successful 'Lamprey' three years later in the Netherlands. Now, they're coming to Patronaat on Sunday, September 29th, to perform all their favorites live. And, okay, yours too.
Bettie Serveert has released multiple albums and even taken a few sabbaticals over the years. Yet, the call of the stage is always strong, and they continue to grace podiums with their presence. Last year, they celebrated their debut album with a special edition, and in 2024, they're celebrating all their favorite songs, including, of course, the most beautiful ones from 'Palomine.'

What would happen if Kurt Cobain and Ariana Grande had a Pokémon together? You'd get something like Hiqpy. This four-member creature is playful and a bit cheeky. Superpower: It spits flames of reverberating ad-libs and fuzzy guitars. Last year, Hiqpy played the talent slot at The Taste of Cristel Ball and a lot happened after that, including being awarded Record Store Day talent.

Superkracht: Spuwt vlammetjes van galmende adlibs en fuzzy gitaren. Vorig jaar speelden ze nog het HVF-talent slot tijdens The Taste of Cristel Ball in de Jopenkerk en sinsdien is er een hoop gebeurt, zo waren ze onder andere Record Store Day NL talent 2024.
