Jenn D'Eugenio, Founder and President of the nonprofit Women in Vinyl, has navigated her career from designing for Fortune 500 fashion companies to career advising at one of the top design universities in the United States, to finally discovering a dream career she never knew existed at record pressing plants. During this converation she will delve into her new book, Women in Vinyl: The Art of Making Vinyl. Women in Vinyl came into being to disrupt the vinyl industry by elevating women's voices to the forefront of historically male dominated spaces. They showcase those working in the industry by sharing their stories with the world. Women in Vinyl inspire, create role models, support and empower women, female-identifying, non-binary, LGBTQ+, BIPOC and otherwise marginalized people working in the vinyl industry, from cutting engineers, and record labels, to pressing plants, and those running or working in record stores. Through a diverse community that encompasses features, a podcast, job board, educational resources, webstore and more; They continue to innovate, educate, demystify and diversify the vinyl industry. Women in Vinyl is a non profit organization and all funds raised are allocated to supporting those aforementioned in starting their journey, and have an open and accepting pathway into this industry on purpose and not by chance, to create, preserve and improve the art of music on vinyl.

Via een diverse gemeenschap die artikelen, een podcast, een vacaturebank, educatieve middelen, een webwinkel en meer omvat, blijven ze innoveren, onderwijzen, demystificeren en diversifiëren binnen de vinylindustrie. Women in Vinyl is een non-profitorganisatie en alle ingezamelde fondsen worden gebruikt om de genoemde personen te ondersteunen bij het beginnen van hun reis, met een open en accepterende toegangspad tot deze industrie, opzettelijk en niet toevallig, om de kunst van muziek op vinyl te creëren, te bewaren en te verbeteren.
