Classic Album Sundays with Colleen Murphy and Ken Scott

Colleen 'Cosmo' Murphy is the founder of Classic Album Sundays, a global event series and a multi-media content platform that tells the stories behind the albums that have shaped our culture and our lives. It is the world's most popular and respected audiophile classic album listening events and it is coming to the Haarlem Vinyl Festival.

Colleen and her special guest Ken Scott will be celebrating the 50th anniversary of David Bowie's Aladdin Sane. Together they will explore stories behind the creation of the album including anecdotes from the studio. The chat is followed by an uninterrupted vinyl playback of the entire album on our audiophile sound system so that fans can experience the album in a way they never have before. The evening will conclude with a Q&A in which attendees will have the opportunity to ask their own questions.

Murphy is a brilliant and inspiring figure who started Classic Album Sundays in 2010 to challenge the way we listen to music in the 21st century. Ken Scott is another inspiring figure whose engineering and production credits include Elton John, Pink Floyd, Procol Harum, Mahavishnu Orchestra, Duran Duran, the Jeff Beck Group, Supertramp and many more.
