Etan Huijs Live at De Koepel

For the Haarlem Vinyl Festival, Huijs will perform a special show together with roots legend B.J. Baartmans and singer Amber Kamminga.

The Limburg singer-songwriter Etan Huijs sings about personal stories and social observations. His music has been difficult to categorize for years, but in recent years the term Americana has fit due to its often narrative lyrics and rootsy musical approach. 2024 is the year of 'The Road And The Wilderness,' the fifth full-length album by the Venray native. The album showcases Huijs in all his facets; from an over eight-minute-long Wild West tragedy to blues rock about A.I., and from light-hearted seventies pop to bluegrass and even jazz.
