Exhibition 'Because' vinyl day - The Beatles by Jaco van der Steen

Jaco van der Steen will be performing some of the Beatles' most famous songs of their record Abbey Road and more, during the vinyl... er, final day of the exhibition 'Because' at De Vishal.

A fine way to spend your Sunday afternoon, surrounded by vinyl art and live music in an intimate setting, right in the middle of the city. This is the last day to check out the exhibition 'Because' at De Vishal, so come on over and celebrate vinyl art in style.

Jaco van der Steen, singer, musical creative, songqriter/producer. Played 14 years with The Dutch and created the record 'Even weg' (tr. Gone for a while), along with Boudewijn de Groot. Since 2019, he plays with his band The Dashboard Danglers, for which he also writes music with De Groot. Besides, he produces and writes with several artists in his own studio in Haarlem. In 2022, he released a song-and-picture book at Uitgeverij Lemniscaat called 'Soms als ik een vlinder ziet' (tr. Sometimes when I see a butterfly), with Boudewijn de Groot and Mark Janssen. Van der Steen contributed to De Groot's new album 'Windveren' (tr. 'Wind feathers'). This season he will go on tour through the Netherlands with the Dashboard Dangles.
During this final day at the exhibition, Jaco will (mostly) play songs from the Beatles' Abbey Road.

Jaco van der Steen, zanger, muzikale duizendpoot, songwriter/producer. Speelde 14 jaar lang met The Dutch Eagles, en maakte met die band samen met Boudewijn de Groot het album 'Even weg'. Speelt sinds 2019 met zijn eigen nieuwe band The Dashboard Danglers, waarvoor hij ook samen met Boudewijn de Groot de muziek schrijft. Produceert en schrijft samen met verschillende artiesten in zijn eigen studio in Haarlem. Laatste wapenfeit als componist en muzikant: het eind 2022 bij Uitgeverij Lemniscaat verschenen liedjesprentenboek 'Soms als ik een vlinder zie' samen met Boudewijn de Groot en Mark Janssen. En leverde ook 2 songs aan Boudewijn's nieuwe album 'Windveren'. Tourt dit najaar met The Dashboard Danglers door Nederland. 
Tijdens deze laatste expositiedag speelt Jaco (voornamelijk) nummers van Abbey Road.
