Nederlands Grammofoon Genootschap

In 2004, the Dutch Gramophone Society (Nederlands Grammofoon Genootschap) was founded with the goal of "promoting knowledge about European-made gramophones from the period 1950 to 1975," and that's exactly what they will be doing at the Haarlem Vinyl Festival.

Hennie Overdijk and Peter Boin from the Dutch Gramophone Society will bring along some gems from the collective NGG collection, which is roughly estimated to include 900-1000 gramophones, along with their extensive collection of 45 RPM records (singles). Come by for a glimpse of this unique collection. They will also be playing some records on their original 1950s-60s (tube) equipment.
