The Art of Recording with Frans Hagenaars

Excelsior Records co-founder Frans Hagenaars will be laying out his vision of what constitutes a good recording and how the studio experience influences how a band sounds in The Art of Recording.

Alternative rock specialist Excelsior Recordings is renowned for the consistency and quality of the recordings made in its two studios, Studio Sound Enterprise and SSE Noord, and Hagenaars will be revealing some of the tricks and hacks he uses to get the best from the groups he works with, drawing on four decades of recording music, first in Weesp and now in Amsterdam Noord.

Het alternatieve rocklabel Excelsior Recordings staat bekend om de consistentie en kwaliteit van de opnames die gemaakt worden in hun twee studio's, Studio Sound Enterprise en SSE Noord. Hagenaars zal enkele van de trucs en hacks onthullen die hij gebruikt om het beste uit de groepen te halen waarmee hij werkt, gebaseerd op vier decennia ervaring in het opnemen van muziek, eerst in Weesp en nu in Amsterdam Noord.
