Wouter Planteijdt at Het Zaeltje

Join the singer/guitarist and songwriter of the legendary rock band Sjako! and bassist Gerco Aerts for an intimate concert on the Sunday afternoon.

After the highly successful concert by Het Pandorra Ensemble last year, Wouter Planteijdt is set to join Het Zaeltje for a solo concert this year.

Wouter is well-known to many as the singer/guitarist/songwriter of the legendary rock band Sjako! With Bullhorn, he creates albums and theater productions with a more subdued repertoire. Wouter has worked as a producer/session musician with artists such as Paul de Munnik, Maarten van Rozendaal, Bob Fosko, and Jeroen van Merwijk. Since 2017, he has collaborated with Martijn Bosman and Dionys Breukers, accompanying Sanne Wallis de Vries. He also performed in the theater production Harmonium with Leo Blokhuis and Ricky Koole. Alongside Leo Blokhuis, he created a show about the legendary group The Band. Additionally, he translated lyrics for De Dijk's album Hold On Tight with Solomon Burke.

We warmly invite everyone to join us on Sunday, September 29, for a surprising concert. Wouter will be accompanied by bassist Gerco Aerts, known from Bullhorn, Ellen Ten Damme, André Manuel, and Michael Prins.

Na het zeer succesvolle concert van Het Pandorra Ensemble, vorig jaar tijdens het Haarlems Vinylfestival in Het Zaeltje, zijn wij blij dat we dit jaar Wouter Planteijdt voor een solo concert hebben kunnen strikken. 

Wouter is bij velen bekend als zanger/gitarist/songwriter van de legendarische rock-band Sjako! Met Bullhorn maakt hij albums en theatervoorstellingen met meer verstild repertoire. Wouter werkte als producer/sessiemuzikant met onder andere, Paul de Munnik, Maarten van Rozendaal, Bob Fosko en Jeroen van Merwijk. Vanaf 2017 werkt hij met Martijn Bosman en Dionys Breukers, als begeleider van Sanne Wallis de Vries. Ook speelde hij in de theatervoorstelling Harmonium met Leo Blokhuis en Ricky Koole. Met Leo Blokhuis maakte hij een voorstelling over de legendarische groep The Band. Hij vertaalde bovendien teksten van De Dijk voor hun  album Hold On Tight met Solomon Burke.
